Description of Haldi (turmeric) 100g

Liquid extract of turmeric is also commercially available.

Haldi (turmeric) 100g can also be used as paste for application on the skin.

. It is particularly effective at reducing the risk of colon, skin, oral, and intestinal cancer and has excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Used as a topical mixture of turmeric powder with milk or coconut oil and placed on inflammatory lesions daily.

Ingested dose of turmeric is 500 mg two to four times a day.

Precautions

Topical turmeric can dye clothes and stain the skin. Side effects when ingested orally are rare but include GI problems (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and dyspepsia).
